The Turning Point contest is operated online only

Contest duration
The contest begins at 2pm on 22nd April 2008 (Malaysia) and closes at 11:59pm on 30th June 2008 (Malaysia).

Acceptance of conditions
Information regarding prizes, and the method of participation, form part of these terms and conditions. By participating in this contest, participants accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This Contest is subject to the laws of Malaysia and is open only to citizens and permanent residents of Malaysia.

Eligibility
A participation in this contest is via the Internet.
To participate in the contest and be eligible to win a prize, participants must be Malaysian citizens (or hold residency status), and be aged 21 and above.
Employees, and immediate family members of of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad, their agents  and their partner agency are not eligible to enter the contest.

Website
To participate via online, the Participants must log on to www.myaxaplan.com.my
(the “website”) and follow the instructions for registration.  Registration is required in order to participate in this contest.

All prize recipients will be called via phone, announced and notified in website http://www.myaxaplan.com.my
 
The prizes shall be received at AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad. In Malaysia. All prize recipients must follow given instructions for claiming their prize, failing which they may not receive their prize.
All prize recipients may be required to sign a form of legal release to be determined by AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad in its absolute discretion.

Publicity
Prize recipients must, at the request of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad and free of any charge, participate in any promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the receiving of the prize, and he/she consents to AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad using his/her name and image in any promotional material.

Notification of Contest Winners
Contest winners may be notified by telephone call to his/ her registered phone number or email address, for which the contact information must have been provided during the game registration process. AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad reserves the right to use any other method or medium deemed fit at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the contest winners.
Proof of mailing, faxing, or delivering (in any manner whatsoever) any details to AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad does not denote proof that AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad has received such details.
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad reserves the right to forfeit prizes for any contest winner who does not provide the required verification upon receiving the request/notification from AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad.
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Contest winners and to fulfill the delivery of prizes and participants agree that AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad may provide all necessary information of Contest winners to such a third party to facilitate such service.

Terms of participation
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected submissions made by the Participant whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure, virus attack, unauthorized data hacking, data corruption, software or hardware failure or any other cause whatsoever.
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad has no control over networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad is not liable for any consequences of Participant error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
All submissions shall become the property of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad, who may use Participants’ personal information for future promotional and marketing activities of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad. Disqualification of Submissions
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any submissions, and prohibit further participation in this Contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the submission process or with the operation of this Contest.

Problems affecting competition
If for any reason any aspect of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, or invalidate any affected submissions.

Exclusion of Liability
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad and its related companies and agencies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Contest or the acceptance or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
Nothing on the Website, or on any other website of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad, or relating to this Contest, shall be construed as conferring any license or other rights under the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad or its related companies or any third party, whether by estoppels, implication or otherwise.
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad shall be licensed to evaluate all submissions for the purposes of this Contest, including verification and as specified in these terms and conditions.
The software and programming code and media relating to the Website and Promotion-related communication is protected by the applicable laws of copyright, trademark, patent, unfair competition and other proprietary laws.

Tax Statement
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Prize recipients required to pay Withholding Tax 5% of total prize value.

Miscellaneous
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad decisions shall be final in all matters relating to this Contest and no correspondences will be entertained.

AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.

A Participant shall be deemed to have notice of any such amendments or interpretations upon publication of the same on the Website and shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments or interpretations by virtue of his/her continued participation in this Contest. Should a Participant not wish to continue to participate in this Contest pursuant to the prevailing terms and conditions as amended or interpreted, he/she may terminate participation in this Contest upon written notice to AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad.
AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad may at its absolute discretion, extend any time limit or waive any of these terms and conditions where a participant might otherwise be disqualified.
